A thrilling theatrical exploration of our city’s relationship and history with the bicycle.

In 1869 the bicycle made its first appearance in London Ontario causing a sensation, and this city’s formative relationship with the bicycle began. This vibrant theatrical collage explores the stories of the many Londoners who
have used bicycles to shape their lives and our city.

AlvegoRoot's 2021 Season is supported by the London Arts Council through the City of London's Community Arts Investment Program. Along with generous support by private donors.
AlvegoRoot acknowledges that we create work on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak and Attawandaron peoples as well as nations both recorded and unrecorded who have been caretakers of this land for time immemorial.  These lands are connected with the London Township and Sombra Treaties of 1796 and the Dish with One Spoon Covenant Wampum.
