The newspaper enthusiastically declared that the long-reigning Delhi Raiders were finally dethroned by the Simcoe Sabres at the 2023 Norfolk County Fair. Forgotten was the tie in 2012 that shook the high schools to their cores. Nobody could claim bragging rights over their tug-o-war wins and cheerleading triumphs! Journey back to that overlooked year and experience the joy and folly of two teenagers as they zealously embrace their last fair as students. They’re changing. Parents are aging. Home is changing and feels more suffocating than it ever has before. But they know that once they leave, home will never be the same again. It was a time of closing schools, holy cows, and marvellous fairground hijinks. Written by Kydra Ryan Directed by Adam Corrigan Holowitz Performed by David Pasquino, Jessica Pereira, Kydra Ryan |
