Hamm is blind and confined to a wheel chair. Clov cannot sit down. Hamm’s parents, Nell and Nagg, are kept in two waste buckets. They are all in a room with one door and two windows. As each attempts to leave the room, clues are found about these people: Is Clov a mad man? Is Hamm a fallen king. Did something catastrophic happen leaving them confined to this room?
