Mayor Cornish is fighting Slippery Jack who is fighting the Fenians! It is June 1867 in London Ontario and no one notices that they are about to become a new country. Did we mention it also a hilarious musical comedy!

It’s the last three days of June 1867, the days right before Canada officially becomes a country. But everyone in London Ontario is too busy to notice the start of their new nation. The recently defeated, short tempered, Mayor Frank Cornish is ready to start a fight with anyone who crosses his path. Everyone is on the lookout for the notorious window peeper Slippery Jack. The Fenians are planning a surprise attack. The new Mayor Frank Smith is more concerned with vegetable produce than politics. And Tully and Belinda just want to be in love!

AlvegoRoot acknowledges that we create work on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak and Attawandaron peoples as well as nations both recorded and unrecorded who have been caretakers of this land for time immemorial.  These lands are connected with the London Township and Sombra Treaties of 1796 and the Dish with One Spoon Covenant Wampum.
