Going COLLEENING was always an adventure for the friends of the late London poet Colleen Thibaudeau. Her letters and poems create a wandering journey through childhood memories, home life and the beginning of Canadian culture. Her poems take delight in the smallest of objects looking at them on a cosmic level, while peering back at the past.

A joyous and irreverent walk through the everyday life of Colleen. Featuring newly found letters and songs based on her poems by London’s Antler River Project.

"Watch this play and you will see a magical show of music, verse and prose like you’ve never seen before"                         - Kenneth Chishom, theatreinlondon.ca

"The triumph of this play is that it acknowledges our own local heroes/heroines, and carries on the tradition in such a grand collaboration."
- Penn Kemp, The Beat Magazine

AlvegoRoot creates work on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak and Attawandaron peoples as well as nations both recorded and unrecorded who have been caretakers of this land for time immemorial.  These lands are connected with the London Township and Sombra Treaties of 1796 and the Dish with One Spoon Covenant Wampum.
