    AUDITION DATE PASSED
    General and Slate Sisters Auditions - January 11 and 18 2024

    AlvegoRoot Theatre (in London Ontario Canada) will be holding general auditions and auditions for the upcoming production of Slate Sisters by Adam Corrigan Holowitz on Thursday January 11 and Thursday January 18 from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. Please fill out the form below and we will be in touch with a time slot and more information. You will be asked to read a scene with Kydra Ryan (ensemble member/associate artistic director), you have the option to also perform a monologue if you wish in addition to reading. Audition sides will be sent to you ahead of time. 

    You can request a zoom audition if you do not live in London Ontario. If you are unable to audition on the specified dates you can indicate that in the form and we will do our best to offer you an alternate time.

    Information on Slate Sisters Auditions 
    ​AlvegoRoot is casting roles for the upcoming production of Slate Sisters. 

    - The characters being cast are female identifying, and can be conceived anywhere in the age range of early twenties to late thirties. We
     encourage submissions from artists of all backgrounds; gender, age, culture, ethnicity, national origin, religion/creed, people living with disability, neurodiverse, LGBTQ2S+ to audition for this production. 

    - This production will engage actors for four weeks from April 1 - 28 2024. 
    - The production will run April 19 - 28 2024
    - Actors will be paid $2480 ($620 per week). Payment will appropriately reflect hours worked. 
    - Billeting can be provided and travel compensation is available for artists traveling from outside of London.  

    - This is an ideal opportunity for early career artists, where they will be treated and compensated fairly for their work regardless of professional affiliation. 

    - The script is available for interested artists.

    Information on General Auditions 
    The purpose of these auditions is to make new connections with actors. We welcome all actors to audition. AlvegoRoot is a professional ensemble with a community focus. While our primary objective is to provide opportunities for professional artists, we are also able to provide opportunities for students, early career artists and community members. A
    rtists of all backgrounds; gender, age, culture, ethnicity, national origin, religion/creed, people living with disability, neurodiverse, LGBTQ2S+ are encouraged to audition.

AlvegoRoot creates work on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak and Attawandaron peoples as well as nations both recorded and unrecorded who have been caretakers of this land for time immemorial.  These lands are connected with the London Township and Sombra Treaties of 1796 and the Dish with One Spoon Covenant Wampum.
