Here’s what your support does for artists:
We created The Ten Minute Play Festival to build connections between theatre artists, help revive the theatre festival scene in London that existed before the pandemic, and provide a supportive environment for artists to showcase new and experimental ideas.
This year's festival has grown to have a greater reach and impact. This naturally leads to greater production and administration costs on top of existing overhead. In order to support emerging artists the AlvegoRoot team has been significantly more active in providing producing and dramaturgy support to festival artists. As the festival sponsor, your support will contribute to the growth of the festival and ensure its continuation.
As an award sponsor you contribution would directly benefit one of the playwrights in the festival. It is beneficial to the development of theatre in London to recognize innovation and artistic excellence.
AlvegoRoot Theatre is an independent professional theatre company in its 18th season. Our mandate is to create local professional theatre about Southwestern Ontario. Our goal as a company is to foster a new generation of local playwrights and create connections within the theatre community.
