Shakespeare: A Most Rare Vision is an attempt by Williams Colgate & Shakespeare to answer that question. William (Bill) Colgate has been a professional actor for over 40 years. A selection of his stage work includes Map of The World (Canadian Stage), The Tempest (Dream In High Park), Pal Joey (Tarragon Theatre), Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You (National Arts Centre), Twelfth Night, Jacob Two Two & The Hooded Fang and Treasure Island (Young People’s Theatre) and Mr. Pickwick (Toronto Workshop Productions). Two of Bill’s more recent performances have been as Billy Bishop in Billy Bishop Goes To War and as Gordon in Lighthouse Festival Theatre’s production of Tip of The Iceberg. Bill also created and performed the role of Shanachie for the Natalie MacMaster/Donnell Leahy Celtic Family Christmas tour in 2018. Bill has numerous credits in all aspects of the acting profession - film, television, CBC radio drama, cartoon & commercial voice work and has shared screen time with such notables as Tommy Lee Jones, Diane Keaton, Kiefer Sutherland, Sarah Polley, Gordon Pinsent, Billy Bob Thornton and John Cusack. Joan Bendon has managed the physically (but not metaphorically) impossible feat of having both feet firmly planted in two worlds; those of the theatre and the corporate for most of her adult life. Joan’s theatrical self as an actor and director while her corporate role is as owner of Flip Events and Meeting Planning Inc. where she has created and directed an extensive array of original and adapted live entertainments and films for the corporate sector.
