A Scooter Production
Iris Trimble is trying to hold it all together. She may very well fly off the face of the earth if she doesn’t hang onto the kitchen counter. Her mother, Bernice Trimble, has received a diagnosis of dementia, and begins to make plans to exit gracefully. Iris and her sister are at odds over this. Their brother, wisely, remains neutral.

The Gravitational Pull of Bernice Trimble is about the tricky nature of family dynamics and the impact of a family member living with a neurodegenerative condition.

Written by Beth Graham
Directed by Brian Speagle

Performed by

Antonio Fowler,  Sue Harrington, Anna Lee-Diemert, Deborah Mitchell

AlvegoRoot creates work on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak and Attawandaron peoples as well as nations both recorded and unrecorded who have been caretakers of this land for time immemorial.  These lands are connected with the London Township and Sombra Treaties of 1796 and the Dish with One Spoon Covenant Wampum.
