Come experience the World Wars through the eyes of the Canadian animals who lived it themselves; Winnie, the bear named after Winnipeg who inspired Winnie-the-Pooh; Sergeant Bill the goat; Gander, the dog from Newfoundland; Bonfire and Bonneau, the dutiful horse and dog of John McCrae. The intricacies of human wars may be unclear to them, but love, loyalty, and loss break through the boundaries of species.
